Gentle Sleep Support for Tiny Dreamers & Tired Parents

"Helping little ones sleep peacefully - one gentle step at a time."

It started with one tired idea...and turned into a place where hearts feel held.
Welcome to Happy Snooze Lane
Hello, lovely parent,

I am so glad you have found your way here.
You’re here because sleep is hard.
You’re doing your very best - but the nights are long, your tea is always cold, and the hallway has become your cardio zone after hours of pacing with your baby like a sleep-deprived tour guide.
All you want is to help your little one rest… without being told to let them cry it out while you cry on the other side of the door. It’s 3 AM, and you’re doing everything you can to help your little one settle - you’re bouncing, shushing, rocking, and whispering every nursery rhyme you know (including that mysterious second verse of Twinkle Twinkle that you didn't even know you knew).

The baby’s eyes finally close… then pop right back open the moment you tiptoe toward the door.

You’re exhausted, frustrated, and maybe even feeling like you’re doing something wrong.
Because isn’t sleep supposed to come naturally?
And why does everyone else’s baby seem to be sleeping through the night when yours just… won’t?

You’ve tried everything - sleep cues, perfect wake windows, advice from every direction - friends, forums, playgrounds, and that one mum at soft play with the laminated schedule and six home made granola bars (you secretly wish you had that much willpower.. and time).

And maybe you’ve heard a few golden lines like:

“Just let them cry - it’s the only way they’ll learn.”
“Back in my day, we just shut the door and let them cry.”
“They won’t go to university still waking at night!”
“At least you’re getting your steps in.”

What you really don’t need are well-meaning words that fall flat.
You need support that gets it.
Support that says:
“You’re not spoiling your baby. You’re supporting them."
At Happy Snooze Lane, we do things differently.
What You Won’t Find Here:

-
Cry-it-out methods that leave you crying too
-
Rigid schedules that ignore real life (teething, Tuesdays, tricky school pick-ups with granted sneaky cat nap in a car seat, and everything else in between).
-
Pressure to wean, stop feeding to sleep, or “break habits” that are actually signs of closeness
What You Will Find:

-
Gentle, responsive sleep support
-
A focus on connection and attunement
-
Guidance rooted in science, not shame

Meet Lucie - Gentle Sleep Support Starts Here
Hi, I’m Lucie.
Founder of Happy Snooze Lane, Infant Sleep Consultant, and forever cheerleader for busy little brains, bedtime adventurers, curious sparklers, and their tired parents.
With more than 15 years of hands-on experience caring for little ones - from busy early years settings to working closely with families as a Nanny and Maternity Nanny… I have supported families through just about every version of bedtime you can imagine. The ones filled with cuddles and calm... and the ones that end in overtired tears and a bedtime routine that lasted slightly longer than planned.
But it wasn’t just experience that shaped this lane.
It was a deep belief that:
~Sleep support should never come at the cost of connection.

~Every child deserves sleep support that’s flexible, responsive, and built around who they truly are, not who a textbook says they should be. For neurodivergent and sensory-sensitive children, this individualised approach isn’t just helpful, it’s essential.

~Kindness speaks in more than words. It’s how we connect, support, and help families feel safe enough to rest. It's what makes us.

~We can’t support a child’s rest without holding space for the parent’s heart, too. Your child’s sleep is important but your emotional wellbeing is just as sacred.
Through in-depth training in gentle sleep strategies, neurodivergent support, and emotional wellbeing, I have built a sleep approach which is both evidence-backed and heart-led. A place where your child’s needs are honoured - and yours are never forgotten.

I created Happy Snooze Lane to be a safe, supportive space where no parent feels shamed, rushed, or alone in the dark.
If you’re looking for expert support that meets you with kindness…
You’ve just arrived.
You Don’t Have to Choose Between Better Sleep and Being a Responsive Parent
Maybe you’ve been told that sleep struggles are your fault.
That if your baby needs help to fall asleep, it means you’ve done something wrong.
Or that you’re creating “bad habits” simply by comforting your child at night.
You’ve heard it all, haven’t you?
The Greatest Hits of Sleep Shame:
“You’re making a rod for your own back.”
“You need to stop feeding to sleep.”
“They’ll never learn if you keep rocking them.”
“You’re spoiling them.”

(If you got a muslin every time someone said one of those, you’d never run out of clean ones.)
And maybe, for a moment, you believed it.

Maybe you looked at your baby - the one who only sleeps with your heartbeat nearby - and wondered if your instincts were the problem.
Maybe you thought that wanting to respond, to cuddle, to stay close… meant you were doing sleep wrong.
Let me whisper this back to you, just in case you need to hear it again:

You are not the problem.
Your instincts are not the issue.
Your baby isn’t broken - and neither are you.
Here’s what’s really true:
Your baby can sleep better - without being left to cry alone.
You can support their rest without ignoring what feels right in your heart.
You deserve to feel rested, confident, and supported on this journey (even if your toddler thinks 5am is a lifestyle choice).
At Happy Snooze Lane, we don’t break habits.
We build rhythms.
We nurture trust.
We meet you exactly where you are - without judgement, pressure, or forcing independence.

ADHD Sleep Support, Done Differently
When the rest of the world is settling down, but your child’s mind is just getting started…
It can feel lonely, frustrating, and endlessly exhausting.

Maybe bedtime brings hundreds of curious questions, tangled routines, and last-minute bursts of energy.
Maybe your child struggles to settle because the room feels too quiet, the blanket feels wrong, or their thoughts just won’t stop swirling.
You’ve tried the calm voice, the wind-down cues, the deep breaths… and still, sleep feels just out of reach.

If that’s your reality - you’re not alone.
And you’re not doing anything wrong.
At Happy Snooze Lane, I specialise in supporting families of sensory- sensitive children and children with ADHD - offering sleep help that’s gentle, sensory-aware, evidence-based, and never shaming.
Sleep for an ADHD brain isn’t just a little different - it needs its own kind of understanding. A unique approach, just like the beautifully unique child it belongs to. Because ADHD brains aren’t broken. They’re wired beautifully.
And with the right kind of support, they can rest too.

What Makes This Support Different:

-
No strict and outdated sleep rules that expect every child to follow the same path
-
No pressure to force independence before they’re ready to let go
-
No cookie-cutter “fixes” that ignore who your child really is

What you’ll find instead is sleep support that’s sensory-aware, rooted in science, and shaped around the beautifully different way your child experiences the world - delivered with heart, humour, and deep respect.

And gently threaded through it all?
A unique approach The Happy Snooze Method - a calm, connection-first way to support both children and their parents through the fog of sleepless nights.
Just enough structure. Just enough softness. Always led by your child, and never rushed.
